Achieve Your Dream Smile with Beautiful Veneers

Imagine a smile that makes you feel your absolute best. A smile that radiates confidence. At Hope Dental Professionals, we believe everyone deserves a smile they love to show off. That's why we offer dental veneers in Bentonville, a fantastic way to transform your smile and achieve the look you've always wanted.
What are Dental Veneers?
Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth. Think of them as a bit like a makeover for your smile! They're a popular cosmetic solution because they can work wonders to correct a variety of imperfections, such as:
- Discoloration
- Chipped teeth
- Gaps
- Minor misalignments
By "covering" these flaws, veneers give you a smile that looks brighter, more symmetrical, and simply more youthful. And don't worry, your veneers will look completely natural, as Dr. Pate carefully matches the color and shape to your existing teeth. Feeling unsure if they're the right fit for you? Give us a call. We'd love to meet you!
Taking A Conservative Approach
Dr. Pate is committed to preserving your natural tooth structure. She takes a conservative approach to veneers, meaning she aims to minimize the amount of tooth reduction necessary. In fact, if alignment is an issue, she may recommend Invisalign first to straighten your teeth and further preserve your natural teeth.
Your Veneer Options
We offer two main types of dental veneers, each with its own unique benefits:
Porcelain Veneers
These are a popular choice because they look very natural, mimicking the light-reflecting properties of your own, natural teeth. They're also stain-resistant and can last for 10-15 years or more with proper care. While they are a bigger investment, many patients find that the longevity and natural appearance are worth it.
The Process For Porcelain Veneers
- Once it’s been decided that porcelain veneers are right for you, Dr. Pate will take some images for a Diagnostic "Wax-up" which will be sent to an American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry-accredited dental technician who will fabricate your ideal smile in wax. This will be the blueprint to make your temporaries at the veneer appointment, so you can see the shape and form of the final product. We will also discuss your desired tooth shade and answer any questions you may have. At this appointment, we can also discuss anti-anxiety options so you feel at ease.
- During your veneer appointment, we will use local anesthesia for complete comfort. Since we have the blueprint in wax, Dr. Pate will use a matrix to remove only the necessary amount of tooth structure to make room for the veneers. Next, she will take an impression and send it to the laboratory. We will fabricate your temporary veneers and secure them in place, and you will wear them for 3-4 weeks.
- Once we receive them from the laboratory, we will schedule you for the placement of your veneers. We will try them out on your teeth and let you see how you like them. With your approval, we will proceed to seat them with permanent cement. They will now be securely bonded to your teeth.
Composite Veneers
These veneers are made from a tooth-colored resin and are a more affordable option. They also require less tooth preparation and can often be completed in a single appointment. However, they may not be as stain-resistant or as durable as porcelain veneers, typically lasting around 10 years or more with proper care.
The Process For Composite Veneers
- Once it’s been decided that composite veneers are right for you, Dr. Pate will take some images for a Diagnostic "Wax-up" which will be sent to an American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry-accredited dental technician who will fabricate your ideal smile in wax. This will serve as a guide to help Dr. Pate place the composite material. We will also discuss your desired tooth shade and answer any questions you may have. At this appointment, we can also discuss anti-anxiety options so you feel at ease.
- At the next appointment, we will use a local anesthetic, and Dr. Pate will conservatively prepare your teeth following the placement of the composite resin. This is usually done two or four teeth at a time, giving you small breaks in between to rest. It is a longer procedure because Dr. Pate works on the intricate details to ensure your resin veneers look natural.
- Your third appointment is where we evaluate your new smile, make minor adjustments if needed, and complete your treatment!
